Missourians on Mission is a not-for-profit mission group that seeks to serve God through construction, sewing and various other ministries.  It is made up of individuals from several states who have a desire to use their skills in "BUILDING GOD'S KINGDOM".  Our primary emphasis is in constructing new first units.   We focus on 2 projects each year with one project in the state of Missouri and one out of state.   Anyone from any state may participate in the group.
We also offer consultation services to churches who are seeking to build using volunteers or  who want to organize their own mission trip.  We are happy to share our experiences through the years.
For 30 years John and Earnita Schuler have faithfully led our group.  Under their leadership the group has grown from a simple idea to over 250 members.  During this remarkable 30 years they have led us to 53 projects, some as far away as Idaho and Wyoming, and have done untold amounts of work helping to Build God's Kingdom.  Alas, we all succumb to the demands of age and last fall (2018) they rendered their resignation from leadership.  They will be sorely missed.
But all is not lost!  God has led Gary and Marilyn Morrow to step into the leadership role.
Gary has been active in missions since his RA days and continues to this day.  He served as state director for Disaster Relief for many years where he coordinated large numbers of volunteers on disaster sites from coast to coast for weeks and sometimes months at a time.  He spent 4 years in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina helping two churches get back into their facilities.  For several months a feeding unit was stationed in Algiers and another year was spent helping Calvary Baptist Church rebuild.  Three years were spent in Chalmette where he oversaw the complete rebuild of a 3 million dollar facility.  In 2010 we returned to Missouri and continued to oversee several churches construct new buildings.  Due to these experiences, his talents lie in finding volunteers, finding locations in which to serve and coordinating the project at hand whether its materials or personnel.  His 30+ years working and managing his plumbing and electrical business is also an asset in helping churches with their needs.

Meanwhile, Marilyn follows him wherever he goes giving her support!  Currently she is a part-time church secretary – a temporary position that has now continued for nearly eight years.  She also plays a mean piano!
